Tom and Shana said “I do” in the sweetest backyard ceremony! Their closest family members came to watch them promise their lives to each other and everyone celebrated afterwards with a toast of champagne (or sparkling juice for the kids 😉 )
I love intimate ceremonies like this! I have this theory that low key wedding days lead to happy marriages. That sometimes the white dress, the church, the decorations, the massive guest list, etc. can distract from the actual purpose of the day – the commitment the couple makes to each other.
When I asked Tom and Shana to tell me their story, they said, “We’ve been best friends for a long time.” I love that! Your spouse SHOULD be the person you want to tell about your day, hang out with, and laugh easily with. For example, I love the way they hugged immediately after their first kiss. So sweet! The way they look at each other melts my heart.
All of their kids, nieces, and nephews were featured in their wedding day, as well. Mack even escorted his mom to the altar – talk about melting my heart!
All in all, I’d say their wedding was absolutely beautiful and I am honored to have been present with their family!
Congratulations, Tom and Shana ❤️
