Family Photos – The Forrest Family

This family photo session went by so quickly! And yet we got so many perfect family photos!

I think because the kids warmed up so quickly and felt free to run (the perks of having land just outside of Punxsutawney but with no traffic and tons of space!) we were just able to roll through the standard poses and get all these playful shots, as well!

These are my favorite types of sessions! My favorite photos are always the ones with the authentic expressions and natural body language. I love to be that fly on the wall (or, uh, tree?) and just watch for the natural interactions between a Mom and her babies. No posing necessary – the way Mom touches, cuddles, and looks at her children is always better than any stiff “look at the camera” poses we try to recreate from Pinterest!

These little ones gave me a run for my money trying to keep up to them, but I love it! I’ll take the bait and chase them down any day for that real life giggle. You can’t fake that! And to clarify, they weren’t being brats – I’m just out of shape, haha! I actually encourage the running, flower picking, and playing because I absolutely love to capture the innocence of childhood.

This Momma is going to have trouble choosing which ones to print for her walls, for sure. With smiles and snuggles like these, even I couldn’t narrow down the gallery!
